Her proudest moment as a leader was asking employee volunteers to “lock-in” and live on a senior living campus for 11-weeks (without going home!) to protect 500+ senior residents during the initial COVID-19 crisis in 2020. During this time, Ms. Moore herself lived in the health center with the memory care and skilled nursing residents. She pitched her tent in the corner of the community hall and slept on an air mattress.
During the day she was a caregiver preparing meals, feeding residents, doing laundry, vacuuming the hallways, and cleaning resident rooms. During the evening she did her regular work by catching up with other leaders on campus and with the management services team.
Ms. Moore leads from the front, the middle, and the rear depending on the situation. She is known as a passionate, mission-oriented, and values-driven leader. And Monday is her favorite day of the week.
